Good luck to the Huskers from a Mizzou fan the Big12 needs a shot in the arm after a pitifull showing by TA&M The Big12 North gets bad mouthed every year but at least they dont get trashed in their Bowl games like the south! Case in point A&M in the Independence Bowl instead of 8 and 4 Mizzou boy did they make the Big12 proud!

Just fishing for some NU info here. Does anyone know if Nate Swift or Todd Peterson made it onto an NFL team this year? I thought that both of them were very good receivers last year. The Huskers could've surely used both of them this season. No offensive weapons to scare opponents with at all. I can only hope that the recuiting focus this spring is offensive. GBR!

Andrew, in all respect, the Big 12 title game was not a semi-final for the BCS championship. Yes, if Nebraska beat Texas - or as you put it, had any kind of an offense - Texas would have been knocked out of the BCS title game. But undefeated Cinncinati or TCU would have been chosen in their place, not Nebraska.

I really hope Cody Green is the starter next year, or Taylor Martinez. Anyone but Zac Lee. He's like a taller Joe Dailey.

@David: I think Andrew meant that the entire season would have gone our way and we would have been in the Nat Champ.

But Andrew, Texas Tech dismantled NU's defense. Top 10: Yes, maybe. National Champion game: No.

I am a Huskers fan. Even if they would have beaten Texas they would not be in the Naational Championship game. They wouldn't even be in the Top 15.

They're close, very close. I've said it all year and yes know, there are three losses but these Huskers have no quit in them. I'm really looking forward to Saturday night and see how well they do against OK.
