Eight hyper-specific predictions.

• Iowa dominates time of possession and rides Shonn Greene, three yards at a time, to a fourth quarter lead at Penn State. But the Hawkeyes also miss scoring opportunities that keep the Lions alive for a late touchdown drive featuring a spectacular/clutch play by Daryll Clark, who redeems an earlier mistake to secure PSU's tenth win.
• After 41, 44 and 51-point losses to Ohio State the last three years, Northwestern puts up a better fight in a defensive game in Evanston. Neither Beanie Wells nor Terrelle Pryor tops 100 yards rushing, but the Buckeyes score at least one non-offensive touchdown en route to pulling away for a merely comfortable win in the fourth quarter.
• Controlling its own destiny and looking forward to a winner-take-all finale with West Virginia if it takes its next three games, Pittsburgh gives up at least 300 yards passing and three touchdowns to Hunter Cantwell while enduring another high-scoring disappointment at home.
• Georgia Tech and North Carolina spend most of three quarters trading punts before the Yellow Jackets go on an epic, time-consuming march in the fourth quarter to take a late lead. Getting the ball back after a defensive stop or turnover, however, only needing to run out the clock, the fumble-happy Jackets put one on the ground at the wrong time, setting up the winning points for the Tar Heels and knocking themselves out of the ACC Coastal race.
• Via turnovers and big plays, Oklahoma runs up a four-score lead by midway through the second quarter, and the Sooners spend another second half in cruise control for the third consecutive week.
• Alabama takes the rabid anti-Saban crowd in Baton Rouge out of the game quickly with a balanced opening touchdown drive, and maintains a solid lead throughout a low-scoring game, shutting down the LSU running game and controlling the clock with Mark Ingram and Glen Coffee until a late Jarrett Lee interception breaks the Tigers' backs.
• Cincinnati stays within striking distance of West Virginia even while being frequently gashed by Noel Devine, who again averages more than seven yards per carry. The Bearcats' hopes aren't officially dashed until Pat White throws a back-breaking touchdown pass off a UC turnover in the fourth quarter, preserving the Mountaineers undefeated start in the Big East.
• Oklahoma State scores the first two touchdowns in Lubbock, putting Texas Tech in the same comeback mode it tried to fend off last week against Texas. Unlike the Longhorns, the Cowboys establish the run early and often, going over 250 yards on the ground and dominating time of possession by at least six minutes. But the Raiders find their spark late in the first half and go on a run of scoring touchdowns on at least three straight possessions en route to another late, dramatic, high-scoring win, with both teams over 35 points.
