Just play ball, fellas.
The Doc's Viewing Schedule.
• Noon: Northwestern at Minnesota (ESPN2), with an eye on Wisconsin at Michigan State (ESPN).
• Afternoon: The Cocktail Party (CBS), with an eye on Pittsburgh at Notre Dame (NBC), Iowa at Illinois (ESPN) and maybe Clemson at Boston College (ESPNU), if things get really slow.
• Evening: Texas at Texas Tech (ABC), with an eye on Tennessee at South Carolina (ESPN2) and Nebraska at Oklahoma (ESPN).
What: Week 10 Live Blog. All comments welcome on any of the day's action.
When: Blog kicks at or slightly before noon Eastern, roughly simultaneous with the first round of games.
Why: You've been working hard for the competent, inspirational political candidate who is prepared to foist your common values on the collective public. You need a break before that final sprint to Tuesday. What better way to use the day off than mocking the broadcast of your favorite team with the same smug sense of superiority?
Who: You, all your rowdy friends. Barack Obama will be stopping by! He's not taking anything for granted, you know -- except, obviously, a Pitt win over Notre Dame. Because he loves him some Pittsburgh! Go ... what is it? Panters? Like a dog pants? Oh, Panthers. That makes more sense. Go Panthers!
