A long time ago, in an Internet land far, far away, an unintentionally hilarious star was born: The "Numa Numa Guy." The self-inflicted humiliation of Gary Brolsma made him "Internet famous" thanks to a ridiculous performance that's been viewed something like 600 trillion times since 2004 -- so many times, in fact, that even an out-of-touch oldster such as myself was made aware of his pointless "celebrity" when he showed up in an episode of South Park.
Maybe that explains why a disturbing percentage of the crowd in Spartan Stadium was completely in tune with the routine when the Michigan State band broke out in a version of "Numa Numa" at halftime of Saturday night's loss to Iowa:
If you would have completely comprehended this clip on its own, with no introduction to Brolsma or "Numa Numa," I humbly suggest that you should seriously reexamine your life. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go back to calculating Kirk Cousins' completion percentage on third-and-long.
