The trailer for 50 Cent's morbid college football drama is upon us
Formerly buff rapper/aspiring media mogul Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson dropped 54 pounds last year to play the role he hopes will make his career as a Serious Actor: Deion Barnes, a fictional college football star at a fictional university who is stricken with cancer on the eve of making his NFL dreams come true. The trailer for "Things Fall Apart," co-written by Fiddy himself, co-starring Ray Liotta, directed by Mario Van Peebles and shot on location at an indoor soccer facility in Grand Rapids, Mich., now exists:
Indeed, Mr. Voice-Over: "Things Fall Apart" stands alone as the most critically acclaimed performance of Mr. Jackson's career, a triumph of dignity, maturity and earnestness that will surely endure until critics actually review it.
