Dr. Saturday - NCAAF

Terrelle Pryor is usually compared to another tall, lanky, hotly-recruited quarterback who could outrun everyone on the field, Vince Young, but the sophomore pledged his eye-black allegiance Saturday to another scrambler of his formative years, the recently resurrected Michael Vick. Understandable, given that Vick was the embodiment of "athletic quarterback with an arm" when Pryor was developing along the same lines from the ages of roughly 10 to 16-years old.

Childhood heroes die hard, and from the sound of things after Ohio State's escape against Navy Saturday, Pryor is more than willing to forgive his idol of sins even worse than the ones Vick has actually been accused of committing:

In case you missed that, Pryor's take on criminal justice and rehabilitation is as follows:

Not everybody is a perfect person in the world. Everyone kills people, murder people, steals from you, steals from me, whatever.

Truly spoken like a 19-year-old yet to complete construction on the maximum security wall of banality in the presence of reporters: Murder, theft, whatever, man. We're all just trying to make it through this world. With that kind of philosophy, animal cruelty must rate somewhere between a misdemeanor and a parking ticket. Speak with him, coach, and issue the requisite "clarification," and remind him to never say anything remotely interesting in public ever again.

Eh. Troy Smith would sometimes say interesting things to the media when he was young, too. But by the time he was a senior, Tressel had totally shaped him up. I think he even wore sweater vests in the locker room.

I pledge allegiance to the hood, and for the stupidity for which it stands ... typical Buckeye, brain dead ... USC will knock some sense into him. Looking forward to more interviews. If you've ever seen the movie Idiocracy, he would fit right in. This is all too typical of Div 1 football players. Nate Davis of MAC fame admitted that he can't read so good but as a 49er backup QB, he is understanding the offense via "diagrams", i.e. cartoons. How do these guys stay in college? What do they major in? Is media communications the new PhysEd?

I give up!!! It's true, TP is a fan of Vick. In fact, Ohio State's college football team is the reason for high unemployment, the collapse of the banking industry, the fall of GM, and is keeping the health care bill from passing.
Coach Tressel will be holding a presser tomorrow to announce that to keep the world from listening to the pontifications of Mark May, Skip Bayless, et. al. telling us what he and his team already know, that they are the scourge of the earth, he has decided to forfeit next weeks game, saving USC the money to come to Columbus (the tree huggers in SoCal are pleased; no greenhouse gasses from unnessecary air travel) and will happily allow the Trojans to claim a 72-0 beat down.
It's come to this folks, OSU and the Big Ten will be looked at as a lesser conference until there are MULTIPLE VICTORIES by it's membership over the SEC, Big 12, and USC. It's going to take time (perhaps years) before this respect and perception is changed. So we might as well just deal with it.

what a joke, how much money is he getting? who says what he said? nobody..he is overrated, and is not accurate. How do Maurice Clarett, and HEISMAN TROPHY WINNER Troy Smith admit to taking money, and Ohio State does not even get investigated, but they investigate Michigan for "practicing too hard and too long?"

LOL. He's a kid. Give him a break.
The media vote OSU 6th in the nation which all Buckeye fans will tell you is too high. And now they want to crucify OSU for a close game against Navy. I don't get it.
Nave is a good team. They will win 8-9 games this year.

I'm sure what Pryor was trying to say was. "Everybody does bad things." He started off by saying "Everybody does uhh.." then went on to say "kills people..." Given his inexperience at talking to the media it seems he just got tongue tied with his words. Give him a break.

Supporting mike vick is one thing however these comments are completely inappropriate and obviously mis worded.
Leave the Vick defense to the following line. No one's perfect and people deserve a new lease on life.
