Alabama survived a second half comeback effort by Kentucky, but the victory was hardly the perfection Nick Saban demands. Take a look at some of the things that drove the Tide boss to near-inconsolable fury as his team stretched its record to 6-0:

alabama is the ONLY team in the top five whose opponents have a combined winning record.
alabama is the ONLY team in the top five who has beaten 2 top ten opponents.
alabama was the ONLY top five team saturday to beat an undefeated opponent.
rail on against saban if you wish, but NO team in the top five has done what alabama's done to this point.
yet speculation abounds that we'll drop in the polls.
fact is we should have been ranked #1 last week and still should be #1.
corndog, you'd be wise to heed the advice coach saban gave you when he was your coach, focus on the task ahead.
you've got to go to gainesville with........................................what's your quarterback's name???

Second, you should be a little more humble so that if Alabama does win you won't have to eat 10 lbs. of crow. Just ask Georgia fans about dealing with Alabama at home in a big game which "we can't lose." Worry about your own team whose biggest win came against a team with no offense and who just lost to Vanderbilt. Giving up 24 points to MSU's offense was none too impressive either.

However, LSU did have all of Saban's boys last year. And they won in-spite of Miles. Just wait and see... Your tigers haven't played anyone this season. You are ranked based on the Halo effect from last year. LSU was not even a contender in the SEC before Saban. And now, with all his recruits gone... You will once again roll off the map and no-one will remember that LSU ever went to the Big Dance...
