Montana Grizzlies quarterback Nate Montana, son of Notre Dame and NFL great Joe Montana, has had another alcohol-related run-in.
Montana was arrested Friday morning on the suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol in Missoula, Mont. The 21-year-old was released from jail after posting $685 bond.
Last August, while the backup quarterback at Notre Dame, Montana was one of several players busted on misdemeanor charges of minor consumption at a house party in South Bend. Montana played three games for the Irish that season before transferring to the Montana Grizzlies.
While Montana isn't exactly at Stephen Garcia's level, there's definitely a problem about the choices he's making.
The Montana Grizzlies have not said what, if any, punishment Montana might face. Montana is actually on a course to be the Grizzlies starting quarterback after a strong spring campaign.
Montana is scheduled to appear in Missoula Justice Court at 2:30 p.m. local time Friday.
