It's your open Tebow love/hate thread

No live blog today as the Doc is out of pocket for much of the afternoon, basking in the splendor of the Egg Bowl. In lieu of the chat, we give you instead the opportunity to use the love fest that is Tim Tebow's final regular season game to leave your -- civil, printable -- thoughts on The Tebow Child from whatever perspective you happen to share on the premiere player of the last half of the decade.

Enjoy the games, kids, and play nice.

Best college football player ever. Heisman and (soon to be) 3 national championships don't lie.

He is a good college player, but I don't see him doing anything productive as a pro.

Awesome. The "greater than" sign doesn't work. How bout we do it like this:
Vince Young [is greater than] Tim Tebow.

I'll admit to often rooting against Tebow on-the-field simply because I'd like to see success spread around a bit more... but there's no denying Tebow is a stand-up guy and hard working football player. Hopefully his "others-first" attitude and service mentality rub off on those around him.

Tebow was a f*cking role player on the first national title team... stop calling him a two time winner. he threw one pass and ran ten times late in the game.

It's funny how Florida fans want to forget Chris Leak, a guy who worked just as hard as Tebow, won a national title in an offense not built for his skills, but kept his head down and wasn't the self-promoter extraordinaire that Tebow is.

It is shameful that instead of praising Tim Tebow for all of the good he represents that there are never-will-be- anything-in-life cretins who have nothing good to say about him and his values. Well, while you do-nothings run your ignorant mouths, Tim Tebow will continue to be successful. Mouth off about that.

Yep. Vince Young went 30-2 as a starter and led his team to an undisputed national championship with the greatest individual performance in college football history.

CM: I agree with the first national title season. He was a role player a very good one but was not the man it was Chris Leak.

Tim Tebow has proven that he is one of the greatest college players to play the game both on and off the field. If he goes on to be the worst pro player who cares he will still be one of the greatest players off the field. Because he is great too many people want to tear him down rather than recognize what he has accomplished.

Didn't Tebow lose in some other-ran bowl game against Michigan in Lloyd Carr's last game? The same UM team that lost to Appalachian State that year? Didn't they go 9-4 that year? And this is the greatest player of all-time? Isn't he on a team that refuses to play non-conference games outside the state of Florida?
Hell, Billy Joe Hobert never lost a game he played in at Washington (27-0), and won a national title.
If Tebow was at Central Michigan, he wouldn't even be Dan LeFevour. (Can Tebow even throw a deep ball?) He's a product of the talent around him, cowardly scheduling, and the publicity machine that is SEC Football.
He has, however, done so much to advance anti-Catholic attitudes.

Not the greatest but one of the greats.
Tim Tebow has made a greater impact than Vince Young.
A lot of SEC coaches will be having a party to help send him off lol. A lot of coaches everywhere.

Tebow was a decent QB, that is all. He wasn't even of that great of a runner. I have hundreds of other QBs I would take over Tebow. I only thing Tebow was good at was running his mouth and rubbing his "Holier than you" attitude.

Please don't let the Browns draft this guy with their first pick. He is not a quarterback...he is like a super-Eric Crouch, and we don't need that at all.
    Go Buckeyes! and Vikings....

How fun will it be to see someone like Ray Lewis just tear into Tebow...He will get torn up in the NFL (if he gets a chance to start) and not even God will be able to help him.
