In a hit straight out of NFL Blitz, University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) player Drew Yeargin laid out University of Virginia-Wise running back Ryan Bouldin as Bouldin was reaching up to catch a pass in an NAIA game last weekend.
The collision was epic. If you watch closely, Bouldin's mouthpiece, which started in his mouth as he sprinted out of the backfield, flies in the air and lands on the ground. And it also appears to be a clean hit.
Yeah, it's obvious that Yeargin was attempting to light Bouldin up — this doesn't represent a form tackle in any way. But Yeargin led with his shoulder, not his head, and from the freeze frame below, it appears his shoulder makes contact with Bouldin's upper chest and not his helmet. No penalty was called and Bouldin jogged back to the huddle.

Cumberlands won the game, 42-13.
