Dr. Saturday - NCAAF

Michigan-Ohio State, in 25 seconds:

At least it's all in good fun, and nobody will be scarred or traumatized for life, or anything.

The Doc's Viewing Schedule
Noon: Michigan at Ohio State (ABS) as long as it's palatable, with an eye on West Virginia at Louisville and -- yes! -- Yale at Harvard (Versus, indubitably).
Afternoon: Michigan State at Penn State (ABC/ESPN), with an eye on Ole Miss at LSU (CBS) and, of course, Washington at Washington State (FSN). Air Force at TCU (Versus) is an option if it's close late.
Night: Texas Tech at Oklahoma (ABC), obviously, and to whatever extent possible, Pittsburgh at Cincinnati (ESPN2), Florida State at Maryland (ESPN) and Oregon State at Arizona (Versus).

What: Game day live blog, all comments welcome. Preference to snark, wit and other irreverence.
When: Blog kicks with the first round of games at noon Eastern, runs through the day.
Why: You just hate them so much, you have to get on the Internet and type it out.
Who: Reach out to an enemy and make the solemn pledge to taunt him/her and their team mercilessly in a seamless yet surprisingly stinging virtual format.

i wouldn't say when monkeys fly...they are a talented team, and thee have been plenty of upsets in the Big 12 championship game like Texas beating Nebraska in the first one and Kansas St. beating #1 OU a few years ago. It is a real problem because the Big 12 should be represented in the BCS championship. If only Mizzou could have beaten Okla. St. then ot would be a lock.

whoever wins today will go to the national championship provided they win the big 12. missouri has a legit shot to win and if they do win Texas is next up with out a doubt.

a bailout of the us auto makers wont help the economy it would just upgrade the CEO's jet from a G4 to a G5. To help the economy more jobs have to be created, and since the auto industry is becoming more automated, that means there are less jobs in it. its better to bail out the banks because thats an industry where jobs are neccessary, things in the banking industry cant become automated. and now that banks understand the 20% down key, they wont fall again. if we do bail out the banks, we should keep a close eye on the W4 for the execs and CEO's.

Looks like the Sooners are trying to show the pollsters that they deserve the national championship shot over a good but not great Longhorn team--look for the rankings to be Alabama, Florida and Oklahoma in that order--all the Sooners have to do now is get past the Cowboys--Missouri will be no problem

I really think that if Mizzou beats OU in the Big 12 Championship, Texas should get into the National Title Game. It definitely should be SEC vs. Big 12

The Big 12 tiebreaker goes to the highest ranked BCS team, which would probably be OU after this blowout.

How does a playoff fix this mess? If Alabama beats Florida in the SEC championship, they'll be the only undefeated (big 6 conference) team. They deserve to play for the title. If you have, say a 4 team playoff, Bama is now forced to play an extra game to get to the title. A playoff only brings new problems.

Wow - Texas Tech got spanked by OU. How did they ever get ranked #2? What a total and complete embarrassment.
I guess it proves the wins over Texas and Oklahoma State were flukes. You can't play every game at home Red Raiders. Why don't you try preparing and executing next time? A complete disaster all the way around. Maybe you need to think about actually punting on 4th down and taking points such as field goals like the rest of the world. Oh yeah, onside kicks are done when the game is close. Not when you are 44 points down.

Hey UT, would you like to play on a neutral field now?Better yet we'll beat you there in Austin with psycho Vince Young, & dopers Roger Clemens, & Lance Armstrong watching. Chickensh*t . For all the Ut fans on the Herbstreet loving UT fans, he would put USC, Florida, Alabama, & Penn State ahead of any Big 12 team. He doesn't have a UT agenda, he has an anti Big 12 agenda. He would love to see the weakest possible Big 12 team win the Big 12, so the BCS would rank USC & Bama/Florida in the championship game.

OU is one dirty team. Leaving the first string in until mid-4th quarter and running up the score to make up for the Texas loss really shows how low class this team, coaches and fans really are in Oklahoma. I think Tech played horribly and OU is a great team but the sheer number of personal foul penalties shows that these guys are scumbags. Well, what do you expect..it is Oklahoma. I would pissed too if I had to live in that awful place.
