We're well into the stretch run, all of a sudden, and today could be one of the major hinge days of the year. The Big Three unbeatens all have tough dates that shouldn't offer too many opportunities for coveted 'style points': Alabama is at LSU, Penn State at Iowa, Texas Tech is hosting Oklahoma State, and coming out with the '0' intact in the loss column should be stylish enough. Impressing voters on top of another win is gravy.
The Doc's Agenda
Noon: Ohio State at Northwestern (ESPN2), with an eye on Baylor at Texas (FSN) and Michigan at Minnesota (ESPN).
Afternoon: Alabama at LSU (CBS), with a very close eye on Penn State at Iowa (ABC/ESPN), and Oklahoma at Texas A&M (ABC/ESPN) or Stanford at Oregon (FSN), if things get really desperate.
Evening: Oklahoma State at Texas Tech (ABC), with an eye on Cincinnati at West Virginia (ESPNU), Notre Dame at Boston College (ESPN) and Florida at Vanderbilt (ESPN2), if it's close late.
What: Game day live blog, all games in play, all comments welcome (but especially the snarky, irreverent variety).
When: Blog kicks off along with first round of games at Noon Eastern.
Why: Beautiful fall Saturdays are for communion with like minds, connected by ... wires ... and, you know, tubes ... and stuff. Be at one with your virtual brethren.
Who: You and all your rowdy friends, and your more deliberate and socially responsible comrades, as well. Everyone is welcome: just hit 'Watch Now' and join the fray.

I'll bet the boys in Pasadena are thrilled with that.

Who has Alabama beaten that is any good? Lsu as we have seen in the past few weeks aren't very good. Georgia isn't that great either and barely squeeked by Kentucky.
If the Sec is so strong why is one of its supposedly best teams (Georgia) barely beating one of the weakest pac 10 teams (arizona state) 27-10?
The pac 10 might be down this year but the Sec isnt that great, if anything it just shows how strong the big 12 south is. That is your power conference this year.
Stop trying to act as if the SEC is so good while USC and the pac 10 is so bad.
