Dr. Saturday - NCAAF

A strong trickle of commenters/haters weren't impressed with Jarrett Boykin's diving, one-handed, trap-it-on-the-helmet catch against Miami last Thursday as a candidate for catch of the year. Fine. Maybe they'll be more accommodating to Kansas' Dezmon Briscoe and his whirling ninja effort during the second half of the Jayhawks' loss to Texas:

The uniforms may be basically the same, but David Tyree comparisons are a little over the top, even if Briscoe does add points for trapping the ball against the back of his helmet. Wherever he is, Tyrone Prothro says when you trap it on the back of somebody else's helmet, he'll be impressed.

david tyree had two hands on it too. that was more impressive ability but then again tyree did it in the superbowl vs a 18-0 team with the game on the line and rodney harrison in defense.

He's a future NFL player. Not a superstar but I see him as a 4th round pick in a year or two.

The g-men catch was much better b/c of eli breaking of three tackles, and tyree's ability to jump over asante
but this catch is still very nice but it kinda looks like he put it on his helmet on purpose, like he was trying to copy that catch.
