Dr. Saturday - NCAAF

For unfortunate viewers who weren't watching the third quarter of Ohio State's win over Illinois, the following is not a precise account of 235-pound Chris Wells' spectacular hurdle of Illini safety Donsay Hardeman as it was actually broadcast by humans with very limited powers of description. Artistically, however, it is a truer recreation than mere journalism could ever provide:

All that's missing are the bullets he avoided in mid-flight, while sharing a humorous anecdote with Terrelle Pryor via telepathy. But the essence remains.

Im not impressed. If he had hit the turbo button on landing and accelerated between the defenders and taken it the distance, that would have been impressive. As it was, he just made a tackler miss. Whatever, I see that every game.

U are exactly right..He did nothing special !!! And who were they playing? Uhh I don't know cuz I wasn't watching. He should have done that against USC but oh yeah he said his little toe was hurtn.. Ohio State again was over rated this year so there's no need to act like Wells did something worth watchn again..Even with T. Prior # 1 player coming out of highschool they still struggle...Sorry not a OSU fan cuz every year we are talking about them and they don't deserve the credit !!Try the Tech/ Texas game again.. That was a great game!! Go horns!! Go Big 12

Couple things this morning. First, gtne91, I really don't care what you think. Thanks for playing. Second, what was impressive was TPryor running downfield to block for Wells. It must be the telepathy thing, Matt.

Anybody with half a brain can see that it was an incredible play! With the exception of those with less than half and that would include the first two posters and #5.

Haters are everywhere. You must appreciate the game in order to ignore your own selfish gripes about whether you like the team or not. I was born, in Columbus, Baby. However, the man is a superior athlete, to be compared to Hershel Walker, Bo Jackson, or Archie Griffin in their college days. So, liking the team or not should not be a factor that would have an effect on your appreciation for the feat. Believe.

To #1, the reason he slows down after the leap is because he's cutting back across to makes another tackler miss and then after that he's waiting on a block and gets caught. I don't care what anyone says that's a great play.

The music in this video is way too much. Slow motion for the entire video is unnecessary. The whole video is over the top.

i agree with Man29...lets see that against USC or Penn State. I lived in Columbus for 4 years, and it was miserable, everyone is on these guys nuts when they dont deserve it at all. So overrated its sick. And for those OSU fans that cry out "haters" every second...outisde the Big Ten your team is trash...USC?? Texas??? Should we mention the last few bowl games? OSU would lose 3-4 games a year in the SEC.

For all people who say that wasn't impressive, how about you work to become as big and fast as him and then attempt to do that and tell me if it was easy or not. Jeez people, the fans that hate the most aren't really that great of fans.

LaGarret Blount of the Oregon Ducks has done this atleast twice this year and scored a TD on atleast one of his hurdles. This is a nice move but by no means super human or even all that rare in college football in 2008.
