Times are tough, gentleman. The doubters and mockers are out in gleeful force. It's easy to be discouraged about the way this one ended, especially after the last few years. But 2009 is another year. So this horse bucked, too, like the others. The new day is just one more chance to get right back on the next one.
Here is what I want you to do: For the rest of the month, get up as soon as you wake with a start at your desks, look at your ever-widening, stapler-creased face in the mirror and say, "I am a winner." Take a deep breath ... and continue, "I am one of the biggest winners in my field today. Recruits believe in me. My peers are jealous of me. I am not defined by a BCS losing streak of five games or three games, respectively, but by a sustained run of success within my conference. I recognize the journey is long, the obstacles are many and it is an honor just to be here. These things are cyclical. Losses are part of the game. I believe in my core philosophy. These things are cyclical.
"I can win big games. I've done it before. I've been a champion. I can do it again."
We're going to make it through these trials together, guys. Like all voyages through the desert, this, too, must pass.

I'll take a 9-3 Texas team led by Mack Brown any year in comparison to the Mackovic days. Sooners, not too long ago was the John Blake era, and Buckeyes, remember John Cooper. Great years by both, and wouldn't A&M or Michigan love to lose a national championship game??!!

By the way, I'm a die hard Buckeye fan, I have paid my dues supporting them do or die, I have the right to be mad.

As for Florida, Tim Tebow is the man. NFL scouts love 40 times, arm strength, and size, but what team wouldn't love to have that kind of competitor and leader in their locker room?? He's got skins on the wall. And the things he does off the field are enormous. The best team was named National Champions. USC, and Texas for that matter, didn't want any part of that Gator team.

Thanks OU! Thanks for representing the Big XII in great fashion, yet again. You are a disgrace. YOU BLEW IT! Again! You were imposters in the NC game. What a waste. What a legacy Stoops is losing......oooops, I mean leaving. Sorry.

As for Beanie, there are rules about head injuries now and my understanding is the player absolutely can not get back in the game.
