Duke 28, Virginia 17. The Blue Devils outgained Virginia by more than 250 yards. Quarterback Thaddeus Lewis finished two yards shy of his fourth consecutive 350-yard passing game. And with 16 unanswered points in the final six minutes, Duke -- Duke which is Duke -- extended its ACC winning streak to three games, its longest since 1994, and enters November on track to take on Georgia Tech for the Coastal Division lead in two weeks. Do not panic; do not adjust your sets. Take deep breaths.
At 9-11 in 20 games as Duke coach, David Cutcliffe is one win short of equalling the program's total wins (10) in 92 games over the first eight years of this decade. Five years ago, Ole Miss fired Cutcliffe after his first losing season in seven years there and hired Ed Orgeron. That is all.
