The Huskies are being touted as an early co-favorite for the Pac-10 title along with Cal, primarily because both programs emerged unscathed from the spring.
While USC, UCLA and Arizona suffered heavy losses to the NBA draft, the Huskies will field the roster everyone expected the day they lost 76-74 to Purdue in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
"This isn't the last time that I'll be here," freshman guard Isaiah Thomas promised after scoring 24 points in the defeat.
Power forward Jon Brockman has graduated from the program, but UW will have talent, experience and depth.
