With more snow in the forecast for the Washington area, Maryland has postponed Wednesday's men's college basketball game against Virginia. The game will be made up Monday, Feb. 15. The starting time will be announced later. With another severe storm set to hit the area Tuesday, both schools agreed on the postponement. ...More |

The Cavaliers reached the halfway point in their conference schedule in better shape than most anticipated.
They were picked to finish 11th in the 12-team ACC, but are tied for fourth with arch-rival Virginia Tech.
Overtime home losses to Virginia Tech and Wake Forest left the Cavaliers (14-7, 5-3 ACC) thinking they could be in sole possession of first place at this point in the season.
But even with the success Virginia has enjoyed, there isn't time for the team to get comfortable. That's because four of the Cavaliers' next five games are on the road, beginning with a trip to Maryland.
