Scottie Reynolds scored 27 points and Corey Fisher added 18 to lead No. 5 Villanova to 110-84 exhibition win over Kutztown on Thursday night. It will be a very different Villanova team that takes the court from the one that reached the Final Four a year ago. But one key cog remains the same.
Scottie Reynolds explored going to the NBA during the offseason, but elected to return for his senior season. That helps alleviate the team's offseason losses, and makes the Wildcats a stronger contender in the Big East.
It certainly has the backcourt to be so. Besides Reynolds, there are also the two Coreys.
Corey Fisher will run a lot of point guard and allow Reynolds to spend more time on the wing looking for his shot, while Corey Stokes is a deadly shooter and defender at the off guard.
