Elijah Millsap scored 22 points and grabbed 15 rebounds to help Alabama-Birmingham to a 77-59 win over Troy on Tuesday night. Jamarr Sanders added 20 points and the Blazers (5-1) shot 64 percent in the second half (16 of 25) for their fourth straight win. Brandon Hazzard scored 29 points and had 10 rebounds and Yamene Coleman added a career-high 20 points to lead Troy to a 104-88 victory over William Carey on Monday night. The Trojans (2-0), who defeated Piedmont 106-50 in the season opener, posted their first back-to-back 100-point games since the 1993-94 season when they defeated Chicago State 124-110 and Selma 111-85.

Michael Vogler scored 20 points and four others scored in double figures, and Troy beat Piedmont 106-50 on Saturday in the season opener for both teams. Brandon Hazzard added 19 points, Vernon Taylor had 15 points, Richard Delk scored 13 and Antywan Jones had 12 for the Trojans. The Trojans shot 55.6 percent from the field (45-for-81), led by Vogler who went 8-for-10.
