Christopher Johnson and Laurence Ekperigin hooted and hollered as they skipped off Jim Boeheim Court, huge smiles creasing their faces and seemingly as stunned as the Syracuse Orange at what had just transpired. Johnson scored 17 of his 22 points in the second half, including a 3-pointer with 8.3 seconds remaining, and Division II Le Moyne stunned Syracuse 82-79 in an exhibition game Tuesday...

It's shaping up to be a challenging season for veteran coach Jim Boeheim, who has to replace the lion's share of his production from the 2008-09 squad.

Jonny Flynn, Paul Harris and Eric Devendorf each decided to leave school with eligibility remaining. Fortunately, Boeheim has players on hand who appear ready to fill their new roles well.

The biggest question mark is at the point, where Flynn proved to be an indispensable player in his two years on campus. Scoop Jardine missed last season with an injury, and will get first crack at the job. He'll face competition from top recruit and second-generation Syracuse player Brandon Triche.

Andy Rautins will take over for Devendorf at the shooting guard, and it's here that the drop-off is the least pronounced.
