It is hard to go from rock bottom to being a contender in a major conference, as South Florida fans know full well by now.

Every year, the locals hear about how this year's squad is the most talented in Tampa since the school joined the Big East. And every year, the Bulls end up in the bottom quadrant of the Big East.

This year, however, the Bulls really do appear to have the most talented squad in Stan Heath's three years at the helm. There's a solid core of players who look like they are legitimate major conference talents, something that's been hard to find at the school in the past.
