While the season-ending loss to Final Four participant Connecticut in the NCAA Tournament West Regional semifinals leaves a sour taste in Purdue's collective mouths, the Boilermakers are hungry for more basketball.

As well they should be:

• Purdue will return its top six players from the 2008-09 team that tied for second in the Big Ten Conference regular season and won the school's first Big Ten tournament title.

• The Boilermakers finished with 27 victories, the most since the 1997-98 team, led by NBA players Brad Miller and Brian Cardinal, won 28 games.

• Purdue made its first NCAA Sweet Sixteen appearance since 2000.

• The Boilermakers will return 82.9 percent of their point...
