Changing coaches often is the right thing to do, even if it doesn't produce immediate results.

The Seahawks have lost their first three games under Brooks Lee since he replaced Benny Moss as coach, but it's been a hectic time with snow and game postponements that have tested more than a coach's ability with X's and O's.

"It's been difficult preparation," Lee said. "I felt it was important to keep the team focused on the task at hand and not get caught up in the process."

That has meant meetings, study hall, scouting reports and strategy sessions.

"We can't let the game just sneak up on them," he said.

While the results have not gotten any better, the play has.

Against Virginia Commonwealth, the Seahawks got to the free throw line 34 times.
