Kentucky freshman guard John Wall has been getting all the raves—and deservedly so—in the early going, but another newcomer also could have a big impact in the backcourt.
Freshman Eric Bledsoe had a breakout game in the win over Indiana, scoring 23 points and making four of his five 3-point attempts. He made all five of his field goal attempts in the first half, including two from behind the arc.
"I'm just happy for him," coach John Calipari said afterward. "He hasn't played with any kind of aggressiveness or assertiveness, almost a casual game at times in the last two weeks.
