The schedule makers haven't exactly been kind to a team that is trying desperately to turn the corner in the Big Ten.
After taking on Illinois and Purdue in the past 10 days, the Hoosiers will face Ohio State, Wisconsin and Michigan State over the next two weeks in a stretch that is going to tax the team mentally as much as physically. Throw in the fact that four of the key players for the Hoosiers—Christian Watford, Jordan Hulls, Derek Elston and Bobby Capobianco—are true freshmen who are bound to hit the "wall" at some point, and IU faces one heck of a challenge to build some momentum.
The upside, however, is that Indiana has done a phenomenal job of growing as the season has progressed and adversity has cropped up. ...More |
