Georgia fans have every reason to be disappointed in the Bulldogs' 2008-09 season, especially after their hopes were raised by last year's miracle run through the SEC tournament.

But they can take solace in one fact.

It could have been worse.

When the Bulldogs lost their first 11 games of the new year, including nine in conference play, it was difficult at the time to see a potential win anywhere on their remaining schedule. But with Pete Herrmann serving as interim coach following the firing of Dennis Felton, the Bulldogs won three of their four remaining games of the regular season, including wins over perennial division powers Kentucky (on the road) and Florida.
