Billy White scored 22 points, including the go-ahead free throws with 19.5 seconds remaining, as San Diego State held off Fresno State 62-58 on Monday night in the West Coast Classic. Tyrone Shelley added 17 points for the Aztecs (3-1), capped by two free throws with 2.9 seconds left that clinched the victory.

Cervante' Burrell scored on a baseline reverse with 8.3 seconds left, then came up with a steal on the final Fresno State possession, and Seattle capped a night honoring Hall of Famer Elgin Baylor with a frantic 85-84 win over the Bulldogs on Thursday night. The Redhawks rallied from down 81-75 with 1:40 left.

Fresno State beats Northern Arizona 65-59 (AP)

Sylvester Seay had had 22 points and Paul George added 15 points and 10 rebounds as Fresno State beat Northern Arizona 65-59 in the West Coast Classic on Tuesday night. Seay did most of his damage in the second half, scoring 14 points and nine of Fresno State's first 11 points. Fresno State (2-0) shot 50 percent from the field in the first half and Northern Arizona (1-2) shot 46.4 percent.

Paul George scored 19 points and grabbed eight rebounds as Fresno State opened its season Friday night by defeating San Francisco State 65-59. Greg Smith, a 6-foot-10 freshman from Fresno, added 17 points and 10 rebounds in his first game for the Bulldogs, who trailed 32-31 at the half but opened the second half with 12 unanswered points and led the rest of the way.
