Coach Steve Cleveland, entering his fifth season, has had to deal with NCAA sanctions from the previous coaching staff, scholarship limitations and a revolving roster that has made it hard to gain traction.

This season could be much of the same, at least in terms of that roster turnover, but Cleveland is a good, high-character coach who now has all his scholarships to hand out. This could be the "foundation" year.

The Bulldogs have only one senior—forward Sylvester Seay—a year after having only one senior, guard Dwight O'Neil, who averaged 12.9 points per game. Also gone are freshman point guard Bryce Cartwright and junior forward Brian Seals.
