Will Walker scored 25 points to lead DePaul to a 58-51 victory over Saint Joseph's on Monday night in the third-place game at the Paradise Jam. The Blue Demons (3-1) held their fourth straight opponent under 60 points to start the season. Walker had seven rebounds for DePaul, which played without leading scorer and rebounder Mac Koshwal, who sat out with an injured left foot.

Jeremiah Kelly had a career-high 18 points and eight rebounds and DePaul closed with a 20-6 run to beat Northern Iowa 60-52 on Friday in the first round of the Paradise Jam. Mac Koshwal added 12 points and 19 rebounds to help the Blue Demons (2-0) advance to the semifinals Sunday against No. 10 Tennessee, a 105-66 winner over East Carolina.

Mac Koshwal had 19 points and 12 rebounds Tuesday night as DePaul snapped an 18-game regular-season losing streak with a season-opening 59-53 victory over Columbia. Will Walker added 15 points for DePaul, which won despite going 9 of 24 from the free-throw line. Noruwa Agho and Brian Grimes scored 13 points apiece for the Lions, who last beat a Big East team in 1985.
