Jerome Dyson scored 20 points and Connecticut snapped a three-game losing streak by defeating DePaul 64-57 on Saturday night. Stanley Robinson added 10 points and seven rebounds for the Huskies (14-9, 4-6 Big East), who improved to 3-3 while coach Jim Calhoun has been out on a doctor-ordered leave of absence. ...More |

It hasn't come quickly or easily, but big Mac Koshwal, DePaul's inside presence, is about back to full speed.
"With Mac, we just ask him to be honest with us," said coach Tracy Webster of his big man.
Koshwal has been out twice this season with separate knee injuries.
The first cost him six games and came just three games into the season. He was averaging a double-double at the time. He came back, played four games and seemed to be getting back into playing shape, only to go out for four more games.
Now his minutes are rising and his play is back to normal, having reached double-figure in two straight games while averaging 8 rebounds.
"He's just a warrior and has that passion to play," Webster said of the way he is keeping a close eye on him. ...More |
