The Jermaine Taylor victory tour didn't have quite enough victories to push UCF into postseason play.
The Golden Knights were the only Conference USA team to finish above .500 overall and not be invited to a postseason tournament.
That meant no more scoring exploits for Taylor, who led the conference in scoring at 26.2 points per game.
But even though the team hoped to make the postseason for Taylor, the season was more about gaining experience for a very young team, which featured 12 players who were either freshmen or sophomores.
That should makes for a better time of it when the team gets together in the fall, with a lot more familiarity with each other ...More |
