James Harden, as good as he was for two seasons, and dependable senior Jeff Pendergraph, are in the Sun Devils' rearview mirror as they head toward next season.

Arizona State will be a team in transition in 2009-10, with a handful of returning players asked to go from complementary players to lead roles. And the Sun Devils will nurture five newcomers who could form the basis of ASU's future.

For coach Herb Sendek, who got the Sun Devils to a 25-victory season and a spot in the NCAA Tournament in his third season, cobbling together another winner will take some doing.
