Scouting Report on Solomon Alabi
by Jerry Meyer - 08/17/2006Having made huge strides as a player over the past year, Alibi can consistently score with a reliable jump hook. Getting more aggressive on the defensive end, he is begining to really impact the game as a rebounder and shot blocker. he still needs more strength and his hands still have room for improvement, but Alibi is progressing towards being a NBA prospect.
Jerry Meyer serves as a national scout and recruiting analyst for Rivals.com. He played at Lipscomb University where be became college basketball's all-time career assist leader. Meyer earned Mr. Basketball honors in the state of Tennessee as a high school junior and senior. He has served as an assistant coach at Vanderbilt and also co-authored the book, "Basketball Skills and Drills."
