Scouting Report on J'Covan Brown

Such a natural talent, Brown shoots the ball effortlessly from deep range. He is also physical with the ball on the drive and has a repertoire of crafty ball handling moves and fakes. Defensively, he is physical and harasses the ball with his quick and strong hands and is able to guard both a quick point guard and a physical off guard. However, he tends to take a lot of risks and play just on instinct.

Jerry Meyer serves as a national scout and recruiting analyst for Rivals.com. He played at Lipscomb University where be became college basketball's all-time career assist leader. Meyer earned Mr. Basketball honors in the state of Tennessee as a high school junior and senior. He has served as an assistant coach at Vanderbilt and also co-authored the book, "Basketball Skills and Drills."
