Scouting Report on Chris Crawford
by Jerry Meyer - 08/26/2009A silky smooth shooter, Crawford is also a clutch shooter from behind the arc. He is well built at 6-foot-4 and has a physical presence to his game beyond being just a shooter. Not an overwhelming athlete, Crawford does have a deceptive burst.
Jerry Meyer serves as a national scout and recruiting analyst for Rivals.com. He played at Lipscomb University where be became college basketball's all-time career assist leader. Meyer earned Mr. Basketball honors in the state of Tennessee as a high school junior and senior. He has served as an assistant coach at Vanderbilt and also co-authored the book, "Basketball Skills and Drills."
