by Jerry Meyer - 09/28/2004Crawford has the makings of a high major combo forward. Blessed with size and strength, Crawford has developing skills with the ball and above average athleticism. He can present match up problems for opponents with his size and versatility. He does need to improve his lateral quickness for defending the perimeter.
Jerry Meyer serves as a national scout and recruiting analyst for Rivals.com. He played at Lipscomb University where be became college basketball's all-time career assist leader. Meyer earned Mr. Basketball honors in the state of Tennessee as a high school junior and senior. He has served as an assistant coach at Vanderbilt and also co-authored the book, "Basketball Skills and Drills."
