by Jerry Meyer - 05/02/2006A sturdy presence down low, Fay can score over bigger players with a nice jump hook. Also a dangerous face up threat, Fay ha a soft touch out to the three-point line. Defensively, he loves to bang and can move his feet to chase down rebounds, but he is not a vertical athlete.
Jerry Meyer serves as a national scout and recruiting analyst for Rivals.com. He played at Lipscomb University where be became college basketball's all-time career assist leader. Meyer earned Mr. Basketball honors in the state of Tennessee as a high school junior and senior. He has served as an assistant coach at Vanderbilt and also co-authored the book, "Basketball Skills and Drills."
