Scouting Report on B.J. Mullens

Loaded with potential, Mullens is not your typical 7-footer. He can both get out on the break and beat his man down the floor as well as stretch the defense with his shooting range. When he puts his mind to it, he is a dangerous offensive rebounder. Right now, he is more of a finesse player, but his game will take off when he becomes more assertive around the basket.

Jerry Meyer serves as a national scout and recruiting analyst for Rivals.com. He played at Lipscomb University where be became college basketball's all-time career assist leader. Meyer earned Mr. Basketball honors in the state of Tennessee as a high school junior and senior. He has served as an assistant coach at Vanderbilt and also co-authored the book, "Basketball Skills and Drills."
