Scouting Report on Alex Tyus

With a reach of 8-foot-10 and loads of athletic ability, Tyus is very good around the basket. Best in transition and as an offensive rebounder, he plays a 94-foot game. His high release jumper is looking good, but only out to 17-feet.

Jerry Meyer serves as a national scout and recruiting analyst for Rivals.com. He played at Lipscomb University where be became college basketball's all-time career assist leader. Meyer earned Mr. Basketball honors in the state of Tennessee as a high school junior and senior. He has served as an assistant coach at Vanderbilt and also co-authored the book, "Basketball Skills and Drills."
