SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP)—Kevin Giltner had 27 points and a career-high 10 rebounds as Wofford beat The Citadel 82-63 on Saturday night.
It was the 10th win in a row against The Citadel for the Terriers, their longest winning streak in the 92-game series.
Brad Loesing added 16 points and Karl Cochran had 13 for Wofford, which shot a season-best 55.2 percent (32 for 58) from the field. Giltner made 11 of 17 field goal attempts, including four 3-pointers.
With the game tied 10-10, Wofford went on a 12-0 run to lead 22-10 with 12:54 left in the first half. The Terriers (4-4, 1-1 Southern Conference) led 40-25 at halftime and were never threatened in the second half.
Wofford outrebounded the Bulldogs 36-29.
Ashton Moore and Mike Groselle each scored 13 points, and DeVontae Wright added 10 for The Citadel (2-5, 0-2), who lost their third game in a row.
