Central Arkansas survives 2 OTs for 107-96 win
Saturday, Nov 26, 2011CONWAY, Ark. (AP)—Eastern Illinois hit two last-second shots to force overtimes, but Central Arkansas was able to pull away in the second overtime for a 107-96 victory on Saturday.
LaQuentin Miles scored 22 points and Terry Tidwell added 18 for Central Arkansas (2-3). The Bears went on a 9-0 run in the second overtime to put it away.
Jeremy Granger ended regulation with a 3-pointer for Eastern Illinois (3-2) to tie the score at 77. He finished with 27 points. Joey Miller hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer at the end of the first overtime period to tie the game at 89.
