DAVIS, Calif. (AP)—Anthony Brown had 14 points and six rebounds, Dwight Powell scored 13 points and Stanford used a big run in the second half to pull away and beat UC Davis 70-49 on Friday night.
Brown, who hadn’t scored in 27 minutes over his previous two games, made 6 of 10 shots from the floor to give the Cardinal (4-0) a boost in their first road game of the season.
Josh Owens added 10 points for Stanford, which has held each of its four opponents under 60 points.
Josh Ritchart had 19 points and five rebounds to pace UC Davis (1-4).
