Indiana takes easy road past Evansville 94-73By MICHAEL MAROT, AP Sports Writer Wednesday, Nov 16, 2011
It was the Hoosiers’ second true road victory in coach Tom Crean’s four seasons and their most lopsided win outside of Bloomington, Ind., since a 24-point rout at Ball State on Dec. 31, 2005. Indiana (3-0) has now won three straight by 20 or more points for the first time since December 2007.
Evansville (1-1) was led by Colt Ryan and Kenneth Harris, who each scored 17 points in front of a sellout crowd at the brand-new Ford Center.
It was never close.
Indiana jumped to a 7-0 lead, led 42-23 with 5:27 left in the first half and the Aces couldn’t get closer than 21 in the second half.
