RICHMOND, Va. (AP)—Charles Jenkins scored 15 of his 20 points during a 35-11 second-half run that gave third-seeded Hofstra control and the Pride beat William & Mary 72-56 Saturday night in the quarterfinals of the Colonial Athletic Association tournament.

Brad Kelleher added 13 points for the Pride (21-10), who will face second-seeded Old Dominion in the semifinals Sunday. The other semifinal will pit top-seeded George Mason against Virginia Commonwealth, the No. 4 seed.

William & Mary (10-22), which upset sixth-seeded James Madison in the first round, led 30-27 until Jenkins, the league’s repeat player of the year, asserted himself on offense.

Marcus Kitts led the Tribe with 10 points.

Jenkins had just five points in the first half, but hit a 3-pointer, a driving left-handed layup, a jumper and eight straight free throws in the burst that put the Pride ahead 62-41.
