FAIRBORN, Ohio (AP)—Aaron Pogue led all five Cleveland State starters in double figures with 18 points as the Vikings defeated Wright State 74-72 on Wednesday night.
Trevon Harmon and Norris Cole each added 16 points, Jeremy Montgomery had 14 and Tim Kamczyc 10 for the Vikings (23-5, 12-4 Horizon League), who had all five starters play at least 29 minutes.
Cole, who finished with 10 assists, and Harmon each played 40 minutes.
Cleveland State trailed 66-65 after a 3-pointer from N’Gai Evans with 1:28 left to play. Harmon answered with a 3 on the ensuing possession. Cole and Montgomery combined to go 6 of 6 from the free-throw line in the final 19 seconds to seal the win.
Evans and Vaughn Duggins each scored 21 points for the Raiders (17-12, 10-7), who shot 51.1 percent from the floor (23 of 45), including 50 percent from beyond the arc (10 of 20).
