BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP)—Joey Accaoui scored 16 points and Vermont completed a sweep of its season series with New Hampshire in a 63-49 victory Monday night.

Brian Voelkel added 11 points and seven rebounds for the Catamounts (17-5, 8-2 America East Conference), who beat the Wildcats (9-13, 3-7) for the second time in 11 days. Vermont also moved within a half-game of Maine, which plays Tuesday at Boston University, for the conference lead.

Tyrone Conley led New Hampshire with 12 points and Chandler Rhoads added 11.

Brian Benson had 11 rebounds for the Wildcats, who beat the Catamounts 35-31 on the boards. But the Wildcats weren’t able to convert the extra opportunities into enough points to compensate for their cold shooting. Though New Hampshire took seven more shots than Vermont (56-49), the Wildcats made five fewer field goals (24-19).
