GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP)—Thomas Coleman scored 20 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to lead North Carolina A&T on a second-half surge to beat North Carolina-Greensboro 82-70 on Monday night.
North Carolina A&T trailed 66-63 with 6:33 left on the clock, but the Aggies outscored the Spartans 19-4 the rest of the way to prevent Greensboro (0-5) from earning its first victory of the season.
The Aggies (4-3) shot 14 for 27 from the floor (51.9 percent) in the first half but still trailed 43-40 at the break. The Spartans shot 18 of 37 from the field (48.6 percent) in the first half, but a 9-for-34 shooting effort (26.5 percent) in the second proved to be their undoing.
Kyle Randall scored a game-high 23 points and Aloysius Henry added 12 points and 15 rebounds in the loss for Greensboro. Randall failed to score a point over the final 13:26 as the Aggies mounted their comeback.
