Georgia beats Saint Louis in final second 61-59
ST. LOUIS (AP)—Jeremy Price banked in a layup with 1 second left to lift Georgia to a 61-59 win over Saint Louis on Saturday night.
The win snapped the Bulldogs’ 11-game road losing streak. Their last road win was a 90-85 triumph at Kentucky on March 4, 2009.
Travis Leslie led Georgia (3-0) with 19 points. Price added 16.
Rob Loe led Saint Louis (1-2) with 19 points. Kyle Cassity added 13.
Saint Louis held a 14-point lead in the second half. Georgia used a 13-0 run to get back into the game.
