Detroit beats Indiana Tech 93-62 in home opener
DETROIT (AP)—Eli Holman scored 21 points and Detroit routed Indiana Tech 93-62 Friday night in the Titans home opener.
Holman pulled down seven rebounds and made 9 of 11 free throws to lead Detroit (1-2) past Indiana Tech (5-3).
Chase Simon scored added 17 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Ray McCallum also scored 17 points, and had six rebounds and three assists.
Detroit entered the second half leading 45-28, a 17-point margin.
Manny Hendrix led the Warriors’ offense, scoring 17 points and pulling down three rebounds.
Nikola Mihajlovic had 15 points and three rebounds.
The Titans travel to Mississippi State for their next game on Monday.
