WILMINGTON, N.C. (AP)—Chad Tomko hit a jump shot with three seconds left to break a tie and give North Carolina Wilmington a 60-58 victory over Morehead State on Thursday night.

The Seahawks (2-1) led 33-31 at the half, but the Eagles (2-1) tied it 58-58, after a layup from Demonte Harper with 35 seconds left.

After UNC-Wilmington called a 30-second timeout, Tomko nailed the game-winner. A turnover by Harper sealed the victory for the Seahawks.

Tomko only made 4 of the 13 shots he attempted, but his final one was the difference for UNC-Wilmington.

Seahawks guard Trevor Deloach scored a game-high 17 points and grabbed 14 rebounds for his first career double-double.

Kenneth Faried led the Eagles with 16 points and 13 rebounds. Terrance Hill added 12 points and Sam Goodman 11 in the loss.
